Maria Montessorigebouw
The Maria Montessori building of the Radboud University is completely energy neutral, making it the most sustainable building on the campus. It’s small-scale and focuses on bridging students and researchers, departments and teaching activities. The building has a light and uncluttered appearance due to the many windows and glass walls in the building. The building consists of two parts which are being connected by the restaurant.

Today’s university is more than a server that enables people to study at all times and places. It is an inspiring work and study environment with spaces for meeting and relaxing. A sustainable and sound building -sufficiently energy-neutral – that upholds its responsibilities for the future.

With teaching rooms, meeting rooms, meeting places, lecture halls and offices spread over the two buildings, all social sciences are located in a building that provides accommodation for about 1275 employees and5200 students.
